Collex-Bossy is a municipality in the canton of Geneva in Switzerland .
The residential community includes the villages of Collex and Bossy and is located on the right bank of the Versoix on the border with France .
history
Like most Geneva parishes, Collex-Bossy was under Bernese rule from 1536 to 1567 and was reformed. The community then came to Savoy and in 1601 to France. In 1815 France ceded Collex-Bossy to Geneva.
From 1790 to 1855 the community was also called Bellevue , which then became an independent community.
