Corinne Abraham (born November 5, 1977 ) is a British triathlete . She is Ironman European Champion (2014) and multiple Ironman winner (2013-2019).

Career

Corinne Abraham was active in judo in her youth.
At her first start on the Ironman distance (3.86 km swimming, 180.2 km cycling and 42.195 km running) she was third in August 2010 in Regensburg and she won a place in the world championship, the Ironman , as the winner of her age group Hawaii .

In July 2012, the strong British triathlete finished third at the Ironman European Championships in Frankfurt am Main.

In March 2013 Corinne Abraham won the Ironman Melbourne in Australia . After a pelvic injury in August 2013, she had to pause for a few months and could not start at the Ironman Hawaii (World Cup) in October.

Winner of the Ironman European Championships 2014

In 2014, she became the Ironman European Champion in Frankfurt am Main in July, she qualified again for the World Championship in Hawaii, started there as a professional athlete for the first time in October and finished eleventh.

In November 2015 she was able to achieve her third Ironman victory in Mexico. Corinne Abraham started for the UPlace-BMC Professional Triathlon Team until 2015 and in the 2016 season for the Austrian pewag racing team of the chain manufacturer pewag .

In May 2018 she won the Challenge Lisboa in the middle distance after finishing sixth here the previous year. In June she was able to win Ironman France with a new course record as the fourth Ironman race.

In August 2019 she won her sixth Ironman victory at the Ironman Tallinn in Estonia.
