Dalton Kellett

Dalton Kellett (born August 19, 1993 ) is a Canadian racing car driver . It will start in the IndyCar Series in 2020 .

Career

Kellett began his motorsport career in karting in 2008 , where he remained active until 2011. In 2011 he also made his debut in single-seater racing and was third in the Ontario Formula Ford . In 2012, Kellett moved to the US F2000 National Championship at Pabst Racing Services . After eleventh place in the winter championship, he finished 14th in the main series. In 2013, Kellett stayed with Pabst Racing Services in the US F2000 National Championship and was 16th overall at the end of the season. Kellett also took part in a Pro Mazda Championship race for Team Pelfrey and a Indy Lights race for Pabst Racing .

In 2014, Kellett received a cockpit in the Pro Mazda Championship with Team Pelfrey. First, he reached ninth place in the winter series. In the main series he was tenth overall with a third place as the best result. In 2015, Kellett moved to Andretti Autosport within the Pro Mazda Championship . One position behind his team-mate Weiron Tan , he finished the drivers' championship in third place. Also in the main series he was internally subject to Tan. With a second place as the best result, Kellett was again tenth, while Tan was fourth.

In 2016 , Kellett stayed with Andretti Autosport and switched full-time to Indy Lights. He finished third once and finished the season behind his two teammates Dean Stoneman and Shelby Blackstock in tenth place in the drivers' standings.
