David Sharpe (athlete)

David Sharpe (born July 8, 1967 ) is a former British middle -distance runner who specialized in the 800-meter distance .

The junior world champion from 1986 won gold at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in Budapest in 1988 and silver at the 1990 European Athletics Championships in Split. In 1992 he won the World Cup in Athletics .
