Rob Harrison

Rob Neil Harrison (born June 5, 1959 ) is a retired British middle-distance runner .

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1985 in Piraeus, he won gold over 800 m . In 1986, starting for England , he finished fourth over 1500 m at the Commonwealth Games in Edinburgh . Over the same distance he won silver at the Universiade in 1987 and was eighth in the 1990 European Indoor Championships in Glasgow.

In 1984 he was AAA runner-up over 800 m, in 1985 and 1986 AAA indoor champion over 1500 m.
