Arnoud Okken (born April 20, 1982 in Doetinchem ) is a Dutch middle -distance runner who specializes in the 800-meter distance .

At the European Championships in Munich in 2002 he was fifth. In 2003 he was sixth at the World Indoor Championships in Birmingham and was eliminated in the preliminary stages at the World Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis, in 2005 he was fifth at the European Indoor Championships in Madrid and again did not get past the first round at the World Championships in Helsinki .

His greatest success so far is winning the gold medal at the 2007 European Indoor Championships in Birmingham. In the same year he failed at the World Championships in Osaka in the run-up.

At the 2010 European Championships in Barcelona he was fourth.

So far he has been three times national champion over 800 m (2002, 2005, 2007) and twice over 1500 m (2002, 2010), indoors six times over 800 m (2002-2005, 2007, 2010) and once over 1500 m (2006).

Arnoud Okken is 1.79 m tall and weighs 65 kg. He is trained by Grete Koens and starts for Atletico '73.
