Colomán Trabado
Colomán Trabado ( Colomán Trabado Pérez ; born January 2, 1958 in Vega de Valcarce ) is a former Spanish middle -distance runner , whose special route was the 800-meter distance .
Life
At the Olympic Games in Moscow , he reached the semifinals. In the 4 x 400 meter relay , he retired with the Spanish team in the preliminary run.
He had his breakthrough at the European Indoor Championships . In 1982 in Milan he won bronze, 1983 in Budapest gold. At the 1983 World Championships in Helsinki he reached the semifinals, at the Mediterranean Games of the same year he won bronze, and at the Olympic Games in Los Angeles in 1984 he did not get beyond the preliminary round.
The following year he won the World Indoor Games in Paris , and at the 1986 European Indoor Championships in Madrid he won silver.
In 1988 he was Ibero-American champion and reached the quarter-finals at the Olympic Games in Seoul .
Overall, he was nine times outdoors (1979–1982, 1984–1988) and seven times indoors (1980–1983, 1986–1988) Spanish champions over 800 meters. In 1983 he won the national title over 1500 meters .
