When Mike enters his house, Susan saves him from Zach shooting him. Zach flees after the unsuccessful act. However, Mike does not want to report him. When Susan shows a complete lack of understanding, Mike confesses to her that he is the father of Zach and reveals the whole secret of Mary Alice. After Carlos goes to jail, John tries to take Gabrielle back, but Gabrielle rejects him. Gabrielle tries to reassure Carlos with a fake paternity test, but he still cannot forgive her for the affair. Lynette has an interview, but it gets completely out of hand because she had to take Penny into the business because of Tom's back problems. Nevertheless, Lynette convinces the boss Ed Ferrara and is hired. Rex's mother Phyllis arrives on Whisteria Lane for Rex's funeral. Bree and Phyllis have different views on Rex's funeral ceremony, but Bree doesn't let himself get down. Betty Applewhite is asked by Bree to act as the pianist at the funeral. Susan is shocked that her ex-husband Karl is in a relationship with Edie and moved into the neighborhood because of that. As Carlos is being blackmailed in prison, Gabrielle is asked to give the inmate's girlfriend money for a breast operation, but Gabby convinces her to refuse the money and refuse the operation. Lynette takes drastic measures when she realizes how much Tom neglects the housework. After seeing Bree with George, Phyllis believes in a relationship and hires a private investigator because she believes Bree is not innocent of Rex's death. | |||||||

When Susan notices that Julie and Edie are rehearsing a piece of music for a family contest, she becomes jealous and gets Julie to play music with her. When she goes to church, however, she feels guilty and lets Edie play with Julie. A triumph for Susan, because Edie is embarrassed at the piano. After Gabrielle catches John with his new employer, it's over for her for good. She finally visits Carlos in prison and makes him a declaration of love. Lynette suffers from being unable to see Parker's first day of school because of her work. But Lynette, with her idiosyncratic approach, still succeeds in being at Parker's big day. Bree is accused of killing Rex with George. Their children are also convinced of it. Therefore, Bree can be put under a polygraph test, but it turns out that she loves George. Betty has to realize that she mustn't be too rude to the neighbors and therefore gives Susan piano lessons as part of the competition. | |||||||

Susan and Mike go to find Zach. Susan succeeds in her search, but she brings Zach without Mike's knowledge to go to Utah to look for Paul. Thanks to her new lawyer, Gabrielle manages to get a sexual intercourse in prison approved. Lynette troubles her son Parker's imaginary friend, as she is a kind of mother substitute for him. She then takes drastic measures, but soon regrets what she did. Bree's son Andrew and her boyfriend George provoke each other so much that they beat each other up. This leads Andrew to pack his things and move out of home. | |||||||

Susan is in contact with her old assistant again, but he disappoints her badly. Lynette brings her boss to enjoy life again through evening activities. But Lynette soon regrets her willingness to help. Gabrielle persuades Carlos to keep David Bradley as a lawyer even though Carlos is jealous of Bradley. After Rex was dug up for an autopsy, Bree was handed the letter that Rex wrote shortly before his death, which stated that Rex believed at the time that his wife had killed him. Bree is so disappointed with their long marriage that she buries Rex in a mass grave. Betty overhears on TV that the murderer was found by Melanie Foster. However, since the killer appears to have been Betty's prisoner, Caleb, Betty writes a letter to Chicago that the wrong perpetrator has been found. Matthew is appalled by his mother, who is so lightly risking Caleb's life. | |||||||

Susan helps her mother plan her wedding. Mike and Susan start talking about getting married at some point. But Mike learns from Paul that Susan gave Zach money to go to Utah. When Mike finds out, he leaves Susan. Susan cannot take this and is encouraged by her friends. Lynette has trouble with Tom because she has bought expensive costumes to avoid attracting attention in the company. Tom makes it clear to her that as parents of four they cannot afford this. Carlos' attorney wants to close the case because he is in love with Gabrielle. But Gabrielle manages to get Bradley to reopen Carlos' case. Bree spends a weekend with George outside of Fairview, but is disturbed because she keeps getting rashes when she gets too close to George. | |||||||

After Mike broke up with Susan, Edie also drew a line with Karl. Due to the consumption of alcohol, Susan sleeps again with her ex-husband Karl that night and is caught red-handed by her daughter the next morning. When Susan explains that this was a one-off, Karl starts a new beginning with Edie. Lynette is happy to have met a family with whom they can take turns looking after the children. When Lynette and Tom get wind of the family's sex videos, the collaboration ends sooner than expected. Bree agrees to George's proposal out of courtesy and surprise. Your therapist Dr. Goldfine advises her to think about this again and remains skeptical. When Bree tells George about her visit to a psychologist, George takes revenge on Dr. Goldfine and pushes him off a bridge. Betty is desperate when she finds out that Caleb has escaped from his hiding place. He seeks refuge with Gabrielle, who is so frightened by Caleb that she falls down the stairs and has a miscarriage. | |||||||

At her mother's wedding, Susan learns that she was the result of an affair with a man who was Sophie's boss and lives on the other end of Fairview. Susan immediately goes to see her father to get to know him. Lynette wants to prove to Tom, with the help of Stu as a decoy, that her twins can easily fall for strangers in cars. But when Karen overhears the incident, Stu is electrocuted. Carlos is appalled that Gabrielle shows no mourning at her miscarriage and hires Ramos, a former prisoner, who shows Gabrielle that she can and should grieve. Bree is beginning to realize that George can be unpredictable when it comes to jealousy. Therefore, she breaks the engagement. George takes revenge on an acquaintance of Bree, whom he blames. After Mike has found Caleb wandering around the neighborhood, he is taken away. Betty worries that Caleb won't reveal anything to the police. | |||||||

Susan makes first contact with her birth father. Lynette catches Stu with Nina red-handed. When Stu is then fired, she advises him to report the incident to Ed, as it is considered sexual harassment. But then Stu decides to sue the company. As a result, Ed has to cut staff, including Nina. Gabrielle is overjoyed that Carlos has been released from prison. However, she realizes that Carlos is now drawn to church and begins to get jealous of a nun with whom Carlos has a lot of contact. Bree finds out that George is also Dr. Knocked Albert Goldfine off the bridge. George swallows pills in the hotel and finally sends Bree a note of his deed so that Bree can save him. When she learns from Detective Bradley a short time later that George was responsible for Rex's death, Bree lets George die believing that she has called an ambulance. | |||||||

Zach comes back to Paul. After numerous disappointments, Susan finally ends up with her father. Lynette campaigns for a daycare center in the company and unintentionally risks her boss's marriage. After Gabrielle learns that Carlos wants to travel to the third world with the nun Mary Bernard, she ensures that Carlos cannot travel. After George's death, Bree learns that George was obsessed with her. When Andrew is released from camp, Bree confesses the whole story to Andrew. Betty and Matthew manage to get Caleb out of psychiatry. But they do not notice that they are being watched. | |||||||

When Bree catches her son red-handed with Justin, she makes it clear to him that she will no longer tolerate this. However, Andrew blackmailed his mother with her secret about George. Karl, a lawyer by profession, stands up for Bree before Andrew with success. Curtis Monroe, who was sent by the Foster family, tries to uncover Melanie's death and finds Caleb at Betty's house. However, he breaks through the rotten stairs and shoots himself. Betty and Matthew hide the body in Monroe's car, but it is discovered by Alberta Fromme. When Susan met the charming doctor Dr. Meet Ron McCready, she fakes symptoms of an illness in order to see him more often. However, Susan has to confess that she just made up the pain. Even so, Ron is ready for a date. Lynette and Tom have a crisis when the conversation arises that Tom would like to have a new family in case his wife dies. When Lynette then demands sterilization, this leads to a conflict. Gabrielle learns from her gardener that nudes of her are circulating on the Internet. With the help of Carlos, she manages to get her ex-boyfriend to delete the pictures. Bree meets with Detective Barton, who has his eye on her. When Bree rejects him, Barton takes revenge and has her car confiscated. When Betty meets them on the way, they start talking and Betty learns that the housewives are on the trail of their secret. She eventually informs Edie that she intends to move away. Felicia Tilman applied to be Noah Taylor's new nurse in order to glean more details about Martha's disappearance. | |||||||

Susan needs an operation on her spleen. When she learns that this is Ron's first spleen operation, however, she is unsure of the operation, which hurts Ron's honor. Lynette has to come to terms with the idea that Tom will work in her company from now on. When Mary Bernard persuades Carlos to annul her marriage, Gabrielle gets Mary to move to Alaska. On one repeated encounter, Gabrielle and Mary had a fight in the church. When Bree recognizes Caleb at Betty's window, Bree wants to tell her friends. However, when Danielle tells Matthew about Andrew's secret, Betty blackmailed Bree with saying that she would reveal her secret if Caleb's identity was revealed. | |||||||

After Susan has been diagnosed with " wandering spleen " and realizes that she has no health insurance, she absolutely needs a fictitious marriage. After the attempt has failed with a homosexual, her ex-husband Karl offers to marry her again, but without Edie's knowledge. After Tom and Ed find out that they were in the same college, they both make increasingly absurd bets on work. Lynette manages to get rid of this with full physical effort. After Gabrielle and Carlos gave shelter to the former Asian slave girl Xiao-Mei and Gabrielle took a liking to Xiao-Mai's work, she offered to stay with her and work there. Bree gains access to Caleb, who shows her his dungeon. Betty then confronts Bree about why Bree broke into her house. Betty tells Bree the full story of the Melanie Foster murder. Susan's and Karl's marriage of convenience begins to fail when Edie believes that Karl is about to propose to her. Despite the antics, Susan and Karl finally get married. Gabrielle receives a visit from her mother, who offers herself as a surrogate mother. Tom hires Karen as a babysitter, but Lynette chooses Bree. When the alcoholic Bree falls asleep, however, her children escape and are picked up in the city center. Bree has to admit that she has a drinking problem. Gabrielle's mother offers her daughter to be her surrogate mother because Gabrielle may not be able to have children, but Gabrielle refuses for the time being. | |||||||

Susan is operated on by Ron. However, Ron finds out that Susan is married to Karl and still loves Mike. Tom struggles with Lynette taking on leadership roles both at work and at home. After Bree slaps Andrew, Justin lets himself be defaced even more and, with the help of a lawyer, begins to sue Bree in order to get his trust fund. Bree decides to quit drinking and take a self-help course, but she can't keep her hands off the alcohol. Gabrielle and Carlos' adoption request is thwarted by Helen Rowland, who does everything possible to ensure that Gabrielle cannot adopt a child. Noah hires murderers on Paul, but Paul strangles them in self-defense. In order not to endanger himself further, Zach offers to visit Noah so that Noah can take back the murder assignments on Paul. | |||||||

Ron breaks up with Susan after having a tangible argument with Mike. When Andrew threatens his mother to fabricate sexual harassment on the part of Bree in court, this drives Bree to despair. She seeks help from her addiction assistant Peter. Lynette works at work convincing a mother that her five-year-old son should no longer be breastfed. Gabrielle finds a pretty stripper as the mother of her adopted child. However, Libby has nothing good on her mind. Danielle is unsettled when she realizes that Caleb is chasing after her. | |||||||

Edie begins humiliating Susan at her engagement party after learning that Susan and Karl got married for insurance reasons. Susan finally finds out in Edie's apartment that Karl apparently still has feelings for her. Bree's addict is swapped due to Peter's addiction to sex, but Bree doesn't get along with her and begins to get drunk again. She is found by Peter. Gabrielle's adopted child is born, but it is not clear whether they can keep it, as her father has not yet agreed. Carlos and Gabrielle are now hiding it in their house. Lynette has a conflict of conscience about telling the court the truth about Bree's alcohol addiction. However, when she realizes that Andrew is up to no good, she perjuries in court. | |||||||

Karl confesses his love to Susan and, if Susan loves him too, he will break off her engagement to Edie. However, Susan turns him off. Meanwhile, Susan meets Orson Hodge, a dentist. Under the pretext that Karl broke up with Edie, Karl and Susan sleep together again, but Susan is upset when she realizes that Edie has not yet known about the breakup. Bree's father and stepmother come to Fairview to resolve the conflict between her and Andrew themselves. When the situation seems hopeless, they want to take Andrew with them. However, Bree informs her of Andrew's homosexuality, which leads to Bree's parents leaving early without Andrew. Since Bree is also striving for a reconciliation, she begins to invite Justin to dinner in order to finally bury the hatchet and her homophobia. Gabrielle is granted premature motherhood by the court, but lets her housekeeper Xiao-Mei do all of the work. Lynette is ashamed when Parker suddenly becomes interested in vaginas and the origins of the children. To avoid the conversation, Lynette buys puppies for her children. | |||||||

Gabrielle's adopted daughter is taken from her by the police because the biological mother still insists on her maternity rights. Gabrielle is on the brink. Lynette tries to help her boss with his marital crisis. After Matthew and Danielle plot an intrigue against Caleb so that Matthew doesn't have to move away, Betty now thinks she will give Caleb the death gift. | |||||||

After a conversation between Susan and Karl was recorded by Edie's private investigator, Susan confesses to Edie that she was the reason for the end of the relationship with Karl. Edie takes revenge and sets Susan's house on fire. After Andrew found out about Peter's bisexual sex addiction, he lets his charms play and sleeps with Peter. When Bree finds out, she abandons her son at a motorway service station. Gabrielle suggests that Xiao-Mei be the surrogate mother for her child, because then Xiao-Mei can still stay in the United States. After a long hesitation, Xiao-Mei agrees. Ed fired Tom after Tom got violent. A little later, Lynette learns from her boss that Tom has made a detour to Atlantic City a few times after business trips. Throughout the episode, Mary Alice remembers in different sequences how the housewives had moved into Whisteria Lane and met each other. Flashbacks also show that it was not Caleb but rather Matthew who was to blame for Melanie Foster's death. After the house fire, Susan lives with her daughter in a mobile home. Susan and Mike try to restart. To make amends and triumph in front of Mike, Karl buys his ex-wife a house on Whisteria Lane. Betty and Caleb are arrested by the police on the Melanie Foster case. When Betty is shown the jacket that was used to cover the body, Betty realizes that it was not Caleb who killed Melanie, but Matthew. She calls Bree to rescue Danielle from Matthew's clutches, but Bree is not released from the mental hospital. Gabrielle has clear suspicions that Carlos and Xiao-Mei are having an affair. Lynette and Tom meet when Porter needs hospital treatment. Tom confesses to Lynette that he still has a daughter and that is why he has been to Atlantic City so often. Lynette forgives her husband. |
