Diederichs Yellow series is in Eugen Diederichs begun publishing house, published since 1973 book series .

The focus of the series is on religion and philosophy , mythology and mysticism of peoples. The series was later continued by Verlag Hugendubel . Another focus is Asia , in particular the philosophy and culture of China , the cornerstone of which are the older translations of Confucian and Daoist classics by the sinologist Richard Wilhelm . Many volumes have been reissued, some revised. To date, over 180 volumes have been published, some of them as Diederich's Magnum Yellow Series in large format.
