European Cup Winners' Cup (handball) 1999/2000
At the EHF European Cup Winners' Cup 1999/2000 35 took Handball part -Vereinsmannschaften, who qualified in the previous season in their home countries in the cup competition for the competition. It was the 25th edition of the European Cup Winners' Cup. The defending champion was the Spanish club Ademar León . The cup games began on August 28, 1999 and ended with the second final game on April 30, 2000. In the final, the Spanish club Portland San Antonio prevailed against the Hungarian representative Dunaferr SE .
mode
The competition started with three games in one elimination round. The winners advanced to the sixteenth finals, in which other, higher ranked teams entered. All rounds including the final were carried out in a knockout system with a return leg. The winner of the final was the European Cup Winner of the 1999/2000 season.
