Euratsfeld is a market town with 2680 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020) in the Amstetten district in Lower Austria .
geography
Euratsfeld is located around eight kilometers southeast of Amstetten in the Mostviertel between Ybbs plane and Randegger Hochkogel . The area of the market town covers 30.45 square kilometers. About 16 percent of the area is forested.
Community structure
Euratsfeld consists of three cadastral communities (area 2016):
- Euratsfeld (1,212.45 ha)
- Gafring (942.76 ha)
- Großaigen (905.46 ha)
The only village is Euratsfeld. Districts are Aichet, Aigen, Auberg, Braunshof, Distelberg, Euratsfeld, Ferndorf, Gafring, Giemetsberg, Göttersdorf, Grissenberg, Haslau, Hinterberg, Kalkstechen, Latzelsberg, Lixing, Mittergafring, Niederaigen, Oberaigen, Obergafring, Oberumberg, Panhalm, Pisching, Pollenberg, Reidl, Schleiferhub, Schnotzendorf, Seibetsberg, Stelzberg, Untergafring, Völkrahof, Walchenöd, Windischendorf as well as numerous individual locations.

history
In ancient times, the area was part of the Noricum province .
Euratsfeld was first mentioned in a document in 1332, and in 1908 the municipality received market rights .

Blazon : in a shield divided diagonally by blue and silver, a bishop in gold with chasuble and miter, in his right hand a book, in the left a staff; at his feet a black bear walking to the right, who carries a silver bundle on his back.

In 2001 there were 54 non-agricultural workplaces, according to the 1999 survey 146 agricultural and forestry holdings. According to the 2001 census, the number of people in employment at home was 1,083. The employment rate in 2001 was 48 percent. On average in 2003 there were 56 unemployed in the municipality.
