The Diamond Nine / Dynamic Austrian Open 2009 was the 100th tournament in the Euro-Tour pool billiards tournament series . They were held from August 19-22 , 2009 in Rankweil in the 9-ball discipline .

The tournament winner was the Swede Marcus Chamat , who won the final against the Englishman Darren Appleton with 9: 6.

Final round

From the round of 16, the games were played in the knockout system . The 16 participants in these rounds were determined in a double knockout system .
