The Polish constituencies

The 2009 European elections in Poland took place on June 7, 2009 . It was carried out in the course of the EU- wide European elections in 2009 , with 50 of the 736 seats in the European Parliament in Poland . A total of 1301 candidates ran for a seat, and over 30 million people were eligible to vote.

Parties entered

Election result

The turnout was 24.53 percent, compared to an EU average of 43.09 percent. In contrast to the EU trend, voter turnout rose, in 2004 it was 20.87 percent in Poland. The election result:
