history

The place was first mentioned by name in 1430 as "Winckelsmül".

Towards the end of the 18th century, the Finkenmühle allegedly belonged to Herrnneuses . The mill is said to have had the Brandenburg-Bayreuth manor of Herrnneuses as the landlord .

As part of the community edict, Finkenmühle was assigned to the Emskirchen tax district formed in 1811 . It belonged to the rural community Dürrnbuch founded in 1813 . From 1817 to 1818 the Finkenmühle was under the jurisdiction of the Wilhermsdorf court , then the Markt-Erlbach regional court . However, until 1839 the Wilhermsdorf patrimonial court held voluntary jurisdiction and the police . With the second community edict (1818) Finkenmühle was re-grouped into the newly formed rural community Neidhardswinden . On January 1, 1978 Neidhardswinden was incorporated into Emskirchen as part of the regional reform .
