Flow Festival
The Flow Festival is a cross-genre music festival in the Finnish capital Helsinki .
The festival was founded in 2004; Back then, a musical mix of hip-hop , DJs and jazz was offered to around 2000 visitors in the VR: n makasiinit warehouse . After a fire on the site, the festival moved to the site of the former Suvilahti energy production facility in Sörnäinen in 2007 . Nine stages, a skate park, a lawn for sunbathing and space for art installations and film screenings are used there. In 2014 the festival registered 58,000 visitors.
