Frederick Koehler
Frederick Koehler (born June 16, 1975 in Queens , New York City , New York ) is an American actor .
life and career
Frederick Koehler was born in 1975 in Queens, New York. There he grew up with his single mother and three older sisters. He attended Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh and graduated with a degree in theater.
Koehler had his first television engagement at the age of eight on the comedy show Saturday Night Live in 1982. He appeared on stage as Jimmy alongside Eddie Murphy and Lionel Richie . 1984 followed another appearance on this show. Koehler made his acting debut in the comedy Mr. Mom as Alex , the son of Michael Keaton and Teri Garr's roles. From 1984 he became known to a wider audience when he played the role of Charles 'Chip' Lowell in the American television series Kate & Allie . In 98 episodes he played the son of Jane Curtins character who starred as Susan Saint James . In 1991 he got the supporting role Mickey in the thriller The Kiss Before Death , alongside Matt Dillon and Sean Young . From 1997 to 1998 embodied in the Koehler of ABC broadcast soap opera All My Children the character of oyster crackers . In 2001 he played a wounded soldier in Pearl Harbor who was wounded by the Japanese in the attack on Pearl Harbor .
This was followed by guest appearances in Just in Case Amy , Ally McBeal , CSI: On the Trail of the Criminals and New York Cops - NYPD Blue . In 2002 he was seen in the television mini-series Taken , by Steven Spielberg , in the episode Acid Tests . In the same year he played a supporting role alongside Sandra Bullock in the drama The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisters . After further guest appearances in crime series, he starred in the 2004 crime film FBI Serial Crime - In the head of the killer , with Jeffrey Donovan and Vera Farmiga in the lead roles. In the action film Death Race , Koehler can be seen as a crew member Lists von Frankenstein (played by Jason Statham ). He embodied this role in the prequel that was released in 2010 as a direct-to-DVD production under the title Death Race 2 . In the sequel Death Race: Inferno , which was released as a DVD production in 2012, he played the role one more time. In 2010 he played the role of Seamus in four episodes of the final season of the mystery series Lost .
