Götz Schulte

Götz Schulte (* 1958 in Halle (Saale) ) is a German actor and radio play speaker .

Life

After training as a machinist , stage technician and stage manager , Götz Schulte completed a degree at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin , followed by engagements at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin , the Freiburg Theater , the Berliner Ensemble , the Düsseldorf Schauspielhaus , the Munich Residenztheater and the Theater in the Josefstadt .

Schulte was seen in numerous productions in Munich, such as Thomas Bernhard's play Before Retirement , Cabal and Love by Friedrich Schiller , William Shakespeare's comedy Was ihr wollt or Schiller's Robber . Peter Zadek , Einar Schleef , George Tabori and Karin Henkel have been some of the directors he has worked with in the past.

Occasionally, Schulte is also in front of the camera. In 2013 he starred in Caroline Link's film Exit Marrakech , and was seen on television in two Tatort episodes as a public prosecutor. His work for radio is much more extensive. Schulte has participated in around 200 productions since the mid-1980s, initially for radio in the GDR , and from 1990 onwards for various German broadcasters.
