Grand Prix of Folk Music 2004

The 19th Grand Prix of Folk Music took place on September 4, 2004 in Vienna ( Austria ). As in previous years , the participating countries were Germany , Austria, Switzerland and South Tyrol . In each country a public preliminary decision was made on television. Four titles each were determined for the final. The Swiss preliminary decision took place on May 6th in?, The German on May 23rd in Rust (Baden) , the South Tyrolean on May 28th in Merano and the Austrian on June 19th in Vienna. The events, for which a CD was released with all participants, were broadcast live.

The finale was broadcast by ORF as part of a Eurovision broadcast from Vienna and taken over by ZDF , SRG and RAI Bozen. The moderator was Wolfram Pirchner , who had already guided through the Austrian preliminary decision. The starting order of the titles and countries had been drawn beforehand. After the titles were presented, viewers from the participating countries were able to choose their favorites via TED .

At the end of the evaluation, The Ladins were the winner of the Grand Prix of Folk Music 2004. Your title flexor before gray hair you had Reinhart stuffer composed and texted. Zurich was chosen as the venue for the next Grand Prix of Folk Music in 2005 , regardless of the country of the winner .
