Holger Janssen

Holger Janssen (born November 25, 1951 in Heikendorf , Schleswig-Holstein ) is a German journalist , musician , cabaret artist , radio presenter and Low German author .

Life

Janssen grew up on the Kiel Fjord , where he learned the Low German language from his grandfather. After school he graduated in Berlin and Kiel , a study of Sinology and folklore . He then made his first journalistic experiences at Norddeutscher Rundfunk and Radio Bremen , initially as a reporter . He benefited from his talent for languages. Later he moderated various magazine formats and Low German programs, such as, from 1992 to 2003, the radio tune Hör mal 'n prayen to and the satirical series Janssen sien true stories . He also designed numerous programs on folk and world music .

Janssen has also written radio plays that are broadcast by NDR and Radio Bremen and goes on tour with his own cabaret programs . He also worked with Reinhard Goltz and Peter Nissen in the cabaret group De Scheewe Dree .
