Horcker , historically also Horker or listener , is the name of the Mark , now extinct noble family .

history

The Horcker dynasty belonged to the ancient Neumark nobility and has been mentioned in documents since the 13th century. Sun joined Hans Horker on April 5, 1392 in Soldin documented in appearance. The family estates - Glasow and Adamsdorf - were also located in the Soldin district . With the latter were Horcker of the Elector of Brandenburg on 14 May 1486 and again on March 9, 1499 invested . Also on March 9, 1499, Elector Joachim I and Margrave Albrecht received the tribute from the knights , including the Horcker , in Soldin . Some of the daughters of the family are known, for example the mothers of the Prussian general Friedrich Wilhelm von Dossow and the Prussian diplomat and clerk Christian Sigismund von Wreech (1630–1661) were both members of the von Horker family . Major General Adam Wilhelm von Sydow was also married to one of Horcker . Around the middle of the 19th century, members of the army or in marriage with other families were named, then the news dried up. The last Horcker to be born died unmarried at the age of almost 36 on January 16, 1904 in Stavenhagen. The family is no longer mentioned in the current nobility dictionary .

Other Country Estate had of Horcker in Neumark to Friedrichswerder (1804) and Wilkau (1804) in the district Schwiebus to Grahlow in circle Landsberg to Hanseberg (1643-1697) and Voigt village in the district of Kaliningrad and Mietzelfelde (1643) and inches (1790 -1803) in the district of Soldin . In Pomerania, Buslar (1784–1791) in the Pyritz district and Schurow (1808) in the Stolp district were family-owned.
