Horná Ves (German Windischdorf , Hungarian Felsőtóti - until 1892 Hornavesz ) is a central Slovak community south of the city of Kremnica , in the Kremnitzer Mountains .
The place was first mentioned in 1429 as Vindisdorf . There is a baroque Trinity column from 1711 in the village.
From 1952 to 1957 and from 1980 to 1997 the municipality was incorporated into the city of Kremnica .
