geography

The municipality of Juvanzé is located on the Aube River , about 50 kilometers east of Troyes in the Forêt d'Orient Regional Nature Park . The 4.94 km² large community includes a section of the left bank of the Aube and a gently sloping terrain extending four kilometers to the northeast, which includes the Bois de Beaulieu forest . Between this forest in the east and the Aube in the west lies a strip of fertile farmland. The village of Juvanzé wedges itself in a narrow bend in the Aube, on the banks of which there are still remains of alluvial forests.
