The Kansas City Outlaws were an American ice hockey team from Kansas City , Missouri . The team played in the United Hockey League in the 2004/05 season .
history
The team was over 2004 franchise of the United Hockey League was founded. In their only season they finished fifth and last in the Western Division. Due to the lack of sporting success, the team could not win enough spectators to cover the costs in the Kemper Arena . With a capacity of over 17,000 spectators, the average attendance was 2,800 per game. This was also the reason for a legal dispute with a printing company about a sponsorship agreement. On April 15, 2005, the team owners officially announced the dissolution of the team.
