The Flint Bulldogs were an American ice hockey team based in Flint , Michigan . The team played in the Colonial Hockey League from 1991 to 1993 .

history

The Colonial Hockey League's Flint Bulldogs franchise was founded in 1991. There it was one of five founding members of the league. After they had missed the playoffs as fifth in their premiere season, they were eliminated in the 1992/93 season in the first playoff round against eventual champions Brantford Smoke . Following this season, the franchise was relocated to Utica , New York , where it then took part in the game operations of the Colonial Hockey League under the name Utica Bulldogs .
