The London Wildcats were a Canadian ice hockey team based in London , Ontario . The team played in the Colonial Hockey League in the 1994/95 season .

history

The franchise of the St. Thomas Wildcats from the Colonial Hockey League was founded in 1994 by St. Thomas , Ontario, London, Ontario, relocated and renamed London Wildcats. In their only season, the 1994/95 season, the London Wildcats finished second in the East Division with 70 points. In the following playoffs for the Colonial Cup, they failed in the first round against the later finalist Muskegon Fury with 1: 4 wins in the best-of-seven series. Due to low attendance levels, the team was inactive during the following season.

Before the 1996/97 season, the franchise was relocated to Dayton , Ohio , where it then took part in the game operations of the Colonial Hockey League under the name Dayton Ice Bandits .
