The men's 50 km walk at the 1946 European Athletics Championships was held on August 23, 1946 on the streets of the Norwegian capital, Oslo .

In this competition there were two medals for Great Britain, silver and bronze. European champion was the Swede John Ljunggren . Harry Forbes took second place . Bronze went to Charles Megnin .
