The men's 110-meter hurdles at the 1983 World Athletics Championships took place on August 11 and 12, 1983 in Helsinki , Finland .

28 athletes from 24 countries took part in the competition. The hurdlers from the United States secured two medals, gold and bronze. Won the gold medal Greg Foster to 13.42 s, Silver went to twice the EM -third ( 1978 / 1982 ) Arto Bryggare from Finland with 13.46 s. Willie Gault secured the bronze medal with 13.48 s.
