List of bodies of water in the Pfinz river system

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The list of waters in the river system of the Pfinz includes the direct and indirect tributaries of the Pfinz , an approximately 54 km long river in the Enzkreis , in the district of Karlsruhe , in the independent city of Karlsruhe and then again in the district, all in western Baden-Württemberg . The Pfinz rises on the northern edge of the Black Forest , flows through the south of the Kraichgau and enters the Upper Rhine Plain near Karlsruhe-Grötzingen . Partly split into different branches of the river and greatly altered by human intervention, the Pfinz flows through the Rhine plain and flows into the Rhine Lower Canal near Dettenheim-Rußheim . There are different definitions of the lower Pfinzlauf in the Rhine plain; the list on which this list is based is based on the labeling of the watercourses on the topographic map .

Overview

Table of the Pfinz tributaries with a catchment area over 7 km², the branches that can take up a considerable part of the runoff, and the Pfinz itself. With name, river code number (GKZ), mouth side, stationing of the inflow point (from the mouth of the Pfinz itself upwards calculated), length and catchment area (EZG) according to the data on the official waterway map. Places and heights according to the official topographic map.

Evidence for this overview section can be found in the following →  hierarchical list of tributaries and lakes or in the individual articles that already exist. The online map (with topographical background layer and water layers), to which a link at the beginning of the →  individual records leads at the bottom, shows an overall picture of the catchment area.
