He married Sibilla Cahn on June 30th, 1891 (* August 8th, 1862) , the marriage had four children: Lina (* May 14th, 1892) , Alexander (* July 25th, 1893) , Max (* June 14th, 1896) and Frieda (* October 18, 1898) . Hubert had to close his butcher shop in 1938, as a result Lina, Max, Sibilla and Hubert emigrated to the Netherlands . Hubert was interned in Westerbork in 1941, deported to Auschwitz on December 12th, 1942 and murdered there; the date of his death is given as December 15th, 1942.

Michael and his wife were brought to the Riga Ghetto via Düsseldorf on December 10, 1941, from there they were deported to Stutthof, where Hildegard perished.

Michael Schnitzlerwas born on May 14, 1902 as the son of Leo Schnitzler (1864–1927) and Wilhelmine Schnitzler, b. Geisel (1868–1936) was born in Müntz, he had a sister Betty (* April 26th, 1896) . He married Hildegard Elkan (* November 18, 1906) , the couple were brought to the Riga ghetto via Düsseldorf on December 10, 1941, from where they were deported to Stutthof. Michael was transported from there to Buchenwald in August 1944, and in April 1945 he went to the Theresienstadt ghetto. Presumably at the end of May 1945, shortly after his liberation, he died of typhus; the official date of death is June 20, 1945.

In August 1938 Johanne and her mother Mathilde were able to travel to the Netherlands. Joseph Josephwas born on November 9th, 1882 as the son of Ludwig Joseph and Elisabeth Joseph, geb. Walter was born in Altenbamberg . After serving as a front-line fighter in World War I , he worked as a judge at the military court in Cologne, and in 1918 he moved to Rheydt to open a law firm . He married Lilly Salmon (1901–1993), a child - Liesel (1928–2013) - was born. As a Jew , a liberal and a Freemason , he conformed to the enemy image of Nazi ideology , and in 1933 he was denounced as a communist . After a protective custody in Dachau, his license to practice as a lawyer was withdrawn and it was decided to emigrate to Cuba. On May 13, 1939, the MS St. Louis left Hamburg for Cuba, where the passengers were not given a landing permit. After returning to Europe, the Joseph family was given the opportunity to travel to Great Britain , where they were classified as " Enemy Alien ". On September 10th, 1940 the family was able to immigrate to the USA ( Philadelphia ), where Josef died on November 23rd, 1945 .

He lived with his parents until April 1938, but then moved to Ligota Tułowicka, where he was arrested during the November pogrom in 1938 and taken to Buchenwald. In December 1939 he returned to his parents' house, on January 6, 1939 he moved to Deventer . After the Nazis invaded the Netherlands, he was arrested and interned in Westerbork. From there he went to Auschwitz in 1942, where he was gassed on March 31, 1944.

They lived from August 4th, 1938 to January 19th, 1939 in the house at Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 21, but then emigrated to The Hague. Hermann he was deported from Westerbork to Auschwitz on February 26th, 1943 and later declared dead. The date of death is given as 02/26/1943. Emilie has probably already died in the Netherlands, she could have been buried in the Jewish cemetery in Wassenaar.

On June 30th, 1942 he was sentenced to five years imprisonment and unworthy of military service by the Aachen military tribunal for "undermining military strength". Engelbert was first brought to Aschendorfermoor and then to the Börgermoor prison camp, where he died on March 18, 1943; pneumonia was given as the cause of death.
