Type / purpose: The abbreviation “TE” stands for “Technologieerprobung”, ie testing new satellite technology ; the ◻ symbol indicates CubeSats . See Satellite Types for further explanation.

Failures

  1. During the first flight of the rocket version GSLV Mk II, the engine of the new cryogenic upper stage did not ignite (according to The Hindu ). The payload did not enter Earth orbit.
  2. 137 seconds after take off, the missile exploded.
  3. During the first flight of a new version of the Blok-D upper stage, no earth orbit was reached. Roscosmos states that the step was too heavy because too much fuel was filled in because of a misstatement in the manual.
  4. Due to a deviation from the path of the rocket, its self-destruct was triggered one minute after it took off.
