Type / purpose: The abbreviation “TE” stands for “Technologieerprobung”, ie testing new satellite technology ; the ◻ symbol indicates CubeSats . See Satellite Types for further explanation.
Failures and partial successes
- ↑ a b The payload fairing did not separate from the upper rocket stage.
- ↑ According to the US government, the rocket did not reach Earth orbit.
- ↑ Incorrect payload data was programmed into the Fregat upper stage. As a result, it used too much fuel and eventually shut down too soon. The satellite was launched in too low an orbit, but was able to raise its orbit a little on its own and was apparently usable. ( Russian Space Web )
- ↑ The satellite was launched in too low an orbit. It was then able to reach the target track on its own, which reduced its service life.
Further remarks
- ^ First successful Iranian satellite launch
- ↑ Dragonsat consisted of the two nanosatellites Bevo 1 and AggieSat 2, which should separate from each other after launch. However, they remained connected to each other and therefore did not receive separate Cospar IDs.
- ↑ IRIS is permanently mounted on the Fregat upper stage of the rocket.
- ↑ Rubin 9 consists of two payloads that are permanently mounted on the upper stage of the PSLV rocket.
