Soyuz TMA-15 is a mission name for the flight of the Russian spacecraft Soyuz to the International Space Station (ISS) . As part of the ISS program, the flight is designated ISS AF-19S. It is the 19th visit by a Soyuz spacecraft to the ISS and the 125th flight in the Soyuz program. The launch took place on May 27, 2009, and on May 29, the spaceship docked at the ISS.

Mission overview

This mission brought three additional crew members from ISS expeditions 20 and 21 to the International Space Station. The Soyuz spacecraft remained docked and served as a second escape capsule alongside the Soyuz TMA-14 for the long-term crew, which had grown to six with this flight.
