List of delivery institutions to the Grafeneck Nazi killing center
The list of dispensaries to the Nazi killing center Grafeneck includes the sanatoriums and nursing homes for mentally ill people from which patients were transported to the Grafeneck killing center near Gomadingen and murdered in the Third Reich as part of the T4 campaign . The study of the fate of the patient by historical science has not yet been completed; the list is therefore not final.
There were a total of six killing centers to which patients were brought directly or via intermediate centers for murder. Grafeneck was in operation from January 20, 1940 to December 1940. As of August 2017, a total of 48 affected facilities from today's federal states of Baden-Württemberg, Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate were known for Grafeneck. Thomas Stöckle, head of the Grafeneck memorial , made the definition in evaluating the sources available today that "patients and residents are to be counted in the facility where they were housed on January 1, 1940."
The T4 campaign was part of the murders of the sick under National Socialism .
