Ludwig Anschütz (actor)

Ludwig Anschütz (born March 29, 1902 in Oberhausen ; † May 25, 1985 in Stuttgart ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .

Live and act

Anschütz studied German language and literature for four semesters and then took acting lessons in Weimar. He made his debut in Saarbrücken, then obligations took him to Kassel, Kiel, Leipzig, Baden-Baden and Hanover. In 1956 he went to the Württemberg State Theater in Stuttgart for several decades , where Anschütz spent the rest of his life. There he was also appointed state actor . At the same time he could be seen in a number of television films over the next two decades, most of which were made on behalf of Süddeutscher Rundfunk . Far more often he was heard in radio plays as a speaker in large and small roles, also here mainly in the southwest of our country. With an aristocratic and dignified charisma, Ludwig Anschütz mostly embodied lordly personalities and powerful dignitaries such as a councilor, a bishop, a lord as well as several doctors and professors.
