Lukov (German Lukow ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers southeast of Bílina and belongs to the Okres Teplice .
geography
Lukov is located in the left Elbe part of the Bohemian Central Uplands . The village is located in the Lukovský potok basin northeast of the Hradišťany , in the north rises the Pařez (736 m), in the northeast the Milešovský kloc (674 m) and in the southeast the Táhlina (656 m) and the Lipská hora (688 m).
Neighboring towns are Kostomlaty pod Milešovkou in the north, Černčice in the northeast, Milešov and Páleč in the east, Medvědice , Lipá and Mrsklesy in the southeast, Lhota, Skalice and Dřevce in the south, Mukov in the southwest and Štěpánov in the west.
history
The area belonged to the settlement area of the Slavic tribe of Lemuzen. The place was first mentioned in 1378. Lukov belonged to the Bílina rule , which in 1495 Děpold von Lobkowicz acquired. After the end of the Thirty Years War , the settlement of the depopulated area by German settlers began.
