Marion Martienzen
Marion Martienzen , also Marion Marlon , (born April 11, 1953 in Berlin ) is a German actress , voice actress , radio play speaker and singer .
Life
Marion Martienzen grew up as a child of the actor couple Gerd Martienzen and Gabriele Kinzinger. After training as an actor from 1969 to 1971 at the “Arts Educational Trust Ltd.” drama school in London, she made her debut at the Hamburger Kammerspiele . She played there from 1971 to 1974 as well as at the Ernst-Deutsch-Theater in Hamburg and at the Fritz-Rémond-Theater in Frankfurt. This was followed by six years of permanent engagements at the Braunschweig State Theater , the Theater am Goetheplatz in Bremen and the Residenztheater in Munich .
In 1980 she joined the theater collective “Theaterhof Priessental” and one year later founded her own theater group with her colleague Michael Leye, the “Pantheater” in Hamburg. By 1990, many self-developed pieces were created, which were shown in the Hamburg Kampnagel factory and at numerous other independent theater locations in Germany. With one of these productions she made guest appearances in Chile , Colombia and Uruguay . She then worked freelance in Hamburg Schauspielhaus at the Kammerspiele and the St. Pauli Theater, at the Hanover Theater , the Schauspielhaus Dusseldorf , the Mannheim National Theater , the State Theater Karlsruhe and the Zurich Opera House .
As a child she already worked in television productions - until 1975 as Marion Marlon. At the age of six she did her first dubbing role . In her professional career, she has dubbed a number of films, spoken radio plays and published numerous audio books with Hoffmann and Campe .
As a mezzo-soprano singer, she sang jazz , soul , blues , gospel , funk , swing , R&B and ballads with various bands .
Her older brother Wolf Martienzen also worked as an actor.
