Morne-à-l'Eau ( Guadeloupe-Creole : Mònalo ) is a municipality with 17,434 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the French overseas department of Guadeloupe . It is located on the island of Grande-Terre on the Grand Cul-de-Sac marin and is congruent with the canton of Morne-à-l'Eau .
The Canal des Rotours , a canal , was built in the 18th century.
