Muggiò [ muˈdːʒɔ ] is a Lombard city in the province of Monza and Brianza . The city is located northeast of Milan and has 23,747 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). The first written mention of the place comes from the year 879.

Closely associated with the city is the name of the Casati family , who settled here in the 15th century.
