Ceriano Laghetto [tʃeˈrjaːno laˈɡɛtto] is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 6607 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019) in the province of Monza and Brianza in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 16 kilometers northwest of Monza and about 20 kilometers northwest of Milan west of the Lambro on Parco delle Groane . Ceriano Laghetto borders directly on the metropolitan city of Milan and the province of Varese .
