Myslkovice (German Miskowitz ) is a municipality in the Okres Tábor district in the Jihočeský kraj region of South Bohemia . It was first mentioned in 1367.
history
The village used to belong to Oldřich a Jeniš from Roudná, and in 1415 the knight Boček bought it. 1653 lived in the village 16 farmers. In 1866 the community was occupied by the Prussian army. In 1877, Count Wratislav from Mitrovic acquired the rule near Dírná. In 1948 his property was nationalized, then returned after 1989.
Jewish population
There is a written record of the Jewish population from 1706, according to which they were resident here before 1650. At first only a few families, but in 1850 there were already 65 families with 474 people, who made up 55 percent of the population. After that, the Jewish population sank again to two in 1930.
Attractions
- built around 1770, it was used until 1931, after which it remained unused and was demolished in 1963.
- From the end of the 17th century. The ghetto was first around the village pond and later in the western part of the village.
