Hodětín (German Hodietin ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located eight kilometers southeast of Bechyně in South Bohemia and belongs to the Okres Tábor .

geography

Hodětín is located on a plateau in the southern foothills of the Bechin Hills ( Bechyňská pahorkatina ). To the east of the village is the Rožberk pond. The Černická obora nature park extends to the north, and the Bechyně military airfield to the northwest.

Neighboring towns are Německý Dvůr, Blatec and Sudoměřice u Bechyně in the north, Hlavatce , Svinky, Benešovská Hajnice and Komárovská Hajnice in the north-east, Komárov in the east, Kozelka, U Ryndů, Klečaty and Zálší , Kraków, Korjovice and Zálší , Hájovice, Korována, Hartmanice , Korována in the south-east in the south, Hvožďánek and Záhoří in the south-west, Březnice in the west and Čečkov, Hodonice , Jamník and Blatec in the north-west.

history

The discovery of a pagan tomb at homestead No. 8 (U Martínků) in 1888 suggests that the place was inhabited in the early days.

The first written mention of Hodětín took place in 1419 in connection with the transfer of the Písek Castle with accessories by King Wenceslaus IV to the Burgrave of Protivín , Jan Hájek of Hodětín, for 550 shock royal tax. Jan Hájek had in Hodětín a stronghold with Vorwerk . He later became the royal chef , sub-chamberlain in Bohemia and Moravia, and most recently Burgrave von Klingenberg . After his death in the transition from 1429 to 1430 his daughter Kateřina von Hodětín inherited the property. Later the Hodětín manor was attached to the Bechyně manor.

In 1840 the village of Hodietin on Sobieslauer Straße consisted of 28 houses with 218 inhabitants. The remote manorial Hegerhaus Marka belonged to the place. The parish was Sudoměřitz . Until the middle of the 19th century, Hodietin always remained submissive to Bechin .

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Hodětín / Hodietin 1850 a municipality in the district administration Milevsko / Mulhouse and the Judicial District Bechyně / Bechin. In 1880 the village consisted of 29 houses and had 209 inhabitants. In 1921, 181 people lived in the 31 houses in Hodětín. In 1923 the village was connected to the electricity network. On October 3, 1929, a major fire destroyed large parts of the village. After the dissolution of the Okres Milevsko, the municipality became part of the Okres Týn nad Vltavou in 1948. After its abolition in late 1960, Hodětín was assigned to the Okres Tábor . On November 26, 1971, Blatec and Nová Ves were incorporated. At the beginning of 1975, Hodětín and its districts were incorporated into Březnice . After a referendum, Hodětín, Blatec and Nová Ves broke away from Březnice on November 24, 1990 and formed their own municipality.

The municipality Hodětín consists of the local Blatec ( Blatitz ) Hodětín ( Hodietin ) and Nova Ves ( Neudorf ), the settlement Kozelka and the monolayer Čečkov, Jamník I, Markovna ( Marka ), německý Dvůr and U Ryndů.
