history

The first written mention was made in 1421 as the farmyard of the Louňovice monastery destroyed by the Hussites . In 1436, Emperor Sigismund signed the court together with the rest of the monastery property into the property of the Hussite town of Tábor , which had already taken possession of it. The village was created through empyteutization of the monastery courtyard. In 1548 the Rosenberg heirs acquired Wesec and added the village to their rule Wittingau . In 1713 the protective and municipal town of Soběslav , which belonged to the Wittingau rule, bought the village from the rule. In 1840 Wesetz / Wesce consisted of 13 houses with 90 inhabitants. The parish was Nedwietitz ( Nedvědice ). Until the middle of the 19th century, Wesetz always remained subordinate to the town of Soběslav as a council village.

After the abolition of patrimonial formed Vesce / Wesetz 1850 with the districts Ceraz and Mokré a municipality in the district administration and the judicial district Tábor Soběslav. Both districts separated in 1878 and formed their own communities. In 1948 Vesce was spun off from Okres Tábor into the newly formed Okres Soběslav. This was dissolved again in 1961 and Vesce was again assigned to the Okres Tábor. At the same time, Mokrá and Čeraz were incorporated. On July 1, 1980, Vesce and its two districts were incorporated into the town of Soběslav. After a referendum, Vesce, Mokrá and Čeraz broke up on November 24, 1990 and formed the municipality of Vesce.
