NGC 3428 = NGC 3429 is a spiral radio galaxy of the Hubble type SBb and the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is an estimated 354 million light years from the Milky Way and about 160,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3388 , NGC 3417 , NGC 3433 , NGC 3439 .
The object was discovered by Albert Marth on March 25, 1865 .
