NGC 5169 is a 13.6 mag bar -spiral-shaped Low Surface Brightness Galaxy of the Hubble-type SBbc in the constellation of the Hounds , which is about 113 million light-years away from the Milky Way.
It was discovered by John Herschel on April 26, 1830 .
