NGC 7201 is a spiral galaxy of the Hubble type Sa in the constellation Piscis Austrinus in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 199 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 95,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 7172 , NGC 7176 , NGC 7203 , NGC 7204 , among others .
The object was discovered by John Herschel on September 27, 1834 .
