NGC 7205 is an active spiral galaxy with extensive star formation regions in the constellation Indians on the border with the constellation Toucan in the southern sky . It is estimated to be 72 million light years from the Milky Way and about 90,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered on July 10, 1834 by the British astronomer John Herschel .
