NGC 7203 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 / a in the constellation Piscis Austrinus in the southern sky . It is an estimated 183 million light years from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years across.
The galaxies NGC 7172 , NGC 7201 , NGC 7204 are located in the same area of the sky .
The object was discovered by John Herschel on September 27, 1834 .
