NSWRL 1937

The NSWRL 1937 was the 30th season of the New South Wales Rugby League Premiership , the first Australian rugby league championship.

In 1937 the season had to be cut short due to a tour of the kangaroos . As a result, the season lasted only eight rounds and the top of the table automatically became champions after the end of the regular season, as there was no time for playoffs. First place went to the Eastern Suburbs RLFC , which won the NSWRL for the third time in a row and for the seventh time overall.
