NSWRL 1987

The 1987 NSWRL was the 80th season of the New South Wales Rugby League Premiership , the first Australian rugby league championship. The first place in the table after the end of the regular season occupied the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles . They won the final 18: 8 against the Canberra Raiders and won the NSWRL for the fifth time. It was also the first time that a team that was not from Sydney was in the final .
