NSWRL 1981

The 1981 NSWRL was the 74th season of the New South Wales Rugby League Premiership , the first Australian rugby league championship. The first place in the table after the end of the regular season occupied the Eastern Suburbs Roosters . They lost in the semifinals 5:15 against the Newtown Jets , who lost in the Grand Final 11:20 against the Parramatta Eels . The Eels won the NSWRL for the first time.
